  <p>CUPS is the standards-based, open source printing system developed by <a class="jumbolink" href="http://www.apple.com/">Apple Inc.</a> for macOS<sup>&reg;</sup> and other UNIX<sup>&reg;</sup>-like operating systems. CUPS uses the Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) to support printing to local and network printers.</p>
